# Send your first payout

> Create, review, fund, and track a payout without writing code

Use the dashboard when your team wants to send payouts manually, review details before money moves, and keep a clear record of what happened.

For the fastest path, use **Quick payout**. Quick payout supports **Instant** and **Scheduled** payouts.

Use sandbox to test payout setup and approvals. Use production for live payouts.

## Workflow

    Sign in to the dashboard for your environment and start a quick payout.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose instant or scheduled">
    Choose **Instant** when recipients should be paid after approval and funding.

    Choose **Scheduled** when recipients should be paid on or after a specific date.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add recipients">
    Add recipients manually or upload a payout file.

    Each recipient can be identified by account ID, email, or supported social ID such as X, GitHub, Instagram, or TikTok.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review details">
    Confirm recipients, amounts, currency, delivery method, schedule, and total funding amount.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve and fund">
    Submit the payout for approval, then fund it after the review is complete.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Track and export">
    Track payout status and export records for reconciliation.
  </Step>
