Pvium supports different payout types because payout operations are not all the same. Some payments need to go out immediately. Others should unlock on a date, after a milestone, or from a shared pool.

Instant payouts

Use an instant payout when the recipient should be paid as soon as the payout is reviewed, approved, and funded. Instant payouts are useful for:
  • One-off contractor payments
  • Creator or affiliate payouts that are already approved
  • Urgent vendor payments
  • Small payout runs that do not need a future delivery date

Scheduled payouts

Use a scheduled payout when recipients should receive funds on or after a specific date. Scheduled payouts are useful for:
  • Weekly contractor payouts
  • Monthly affiliate payouts
  • Payroll-like payout cycles
  • Future-dated rewards or rebates

Pooled payouts

Use a pooled payout when you want to fund a payout pool and let eligible recipients receive funds from that pool. Pooled payouts are useful for:
  • Large recipient groups
  • Rewards programs
  • Community or marketplace payout pools
  • Payouts where the exact receive timing varies by recipient

Milestone payouts

Use a milestone payout when payment should depend on a completed deliverable, approval, or project stage. Milestone payouts are useful for:
  • Contractor projects
  • Agency or vendor work
  • Creator campaigns
  • Grants or staged disbursements
